Luukku

Luukku is a 42 m² house with an airtight laminated veneer lumber panel frame and an envelope made of trusses with thermal breaks. The insulation is made of wood fiber boards and cellulose. Interior panels are of glued pine boards and the exterior cladding in planed and brushed spruce.

Luukku is a zero-energy house where all the energy required is produced using solar-panels that cover the roof. All the materials are wood based and environmentally-friendly. The aim is to achieve a building with a minimal carbon footprint.
